Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the head of the worldwide Anglican Communion, resigned his position to take responsibility for the mishandling of widespread and violent child sex abuses of John Smyth, who was associated with the Church of England.
How about Pope Francis? He coddles sexual clerical predators (such as Marko Rupnik, a serial sexual abuser dismissed from the Jesuits and excommunicated in 2019), appoints perverts to top Vatican positions (such as Cardinal Victor Fernandez, made head of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith), and is vocally and visually pro-LGBT (his favorite is Fr James Martin, a homosexualist priest).
