Pope Raps NATO on Ukraine (Quo vadis, Pope Francis? Part 172)

When Pope Francis says or does something that is right, I have to acknowledge it. This is one such time. The Pope can sense, or knows, even without his saying it outright, that the West is much to blame for the war in Ukraine. Putin just reacted, and in effect he had no other choice.

Why did the West (especially the US and the EU) provoke war in Ukraine? One, as the Pope Says, has to do with the military-industrial complex. War is big business. Look at the billions of dollars in weapons already sent to Ukraine. It looks like the US and NATO are determined to fight to the last Ukrainian.

Two, to weaken Russia. This is more than geopolitical conflict. After all, the Cold War had already ended with the collapse of the Soviet Union, and Russia was keen on joining Europe. But the West is ruled by liberals, those who are anti-God, anti-family and anti-life, while Russia is avowedly pro-God, pro-Church, pro-family and pro-life. It is a spiritual war! And don’t forget that per Fatima, God has a special plan to use Russia to bring the world back to Himself.

As international relations expert Prof John Mearsheimer says, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is the West’s fault.

It would be good if the Pope met with Putin in Moscow. After that, I would not recommend his going to Kiev. The third secret of Fatima might be fulfilled by his assassination there, as the Western liberals and warmongers might not take kindly to his sympathetic meeting with Putin.
