Pope Francis is a modernist and once again he clearly shows it in his responses to the homosexualist Fr James Martin.
PF: “God is Father and he does not disown any of his children.”
Truth: While this statement is true, it is not God who disowns but rather His children who do have a choice of disowning God. This is like the prodigal son who turned his back on his father and left his family home.
Bad effect of this modernist teaching: Sinners believe that since God will never disown them, then they do not have to repent of grave sin and turn back to God.
PF: the style’ of God is ‘closeness, mercy and tenderness’.
Truth: While this statement is true, God is not just a God of love and mercy but also of justice and righteousness. God does not accept evil. God does discipline His erring children. Rather than an effete tenderness, He allows the grave unrepentant sinner to be cast out, but for the ultimate purpose of salvation (see 1 Cor 5:5).
Bad effect of this modernist teaching: It works on emotions rather than the will. It is the false mercy of political correctness.
PF: A “selective” church, one of “pure blood,” is not Holy Mother Church, but rather a sect.
Truth: God and His Church does not force anyone to accept Him or the body of Christ on earth. The Church is universal. Jesus died for all. God wants all to be saved. But there is a condition: repentance and turning to faith in Jesus. Otherwise, the person elects not to be in Jesus’ Church.
Bad effect of this modernist teaching: Grave sinners will continue with their sin, even as they can claim to be devout and partake of the Holy Eucharist. When they do so, they compound their sin.
Pope Francis is a homosexualist who supports all things LGBT. His modernist teachings are a scourge upon the Church and the world.
