As the Jesuits, so too the Franciscans. And of course, here go these liberal Germans again.
This appointment and even celebration of an openly gay new head for the German Franciscans is alarming and frightening. What else says it better that gay is okay? Fr Marcus Fuhrmann calls for gender equity, which is a euphemism for acceptance of sodomy. He says the Church must be sensitive to issues of sexual morality, by which he means the Church should accept sexual immorality.
Fr Marcus says God wants a queer Church. What open, blatant, in-your-face, blasphemous, heretical nonsense!
The liberal religious orders, including the Franciscans, are seeing their numbers dwindling rapidly. On the other hand, it is the traditional religious orders, where clerics wear cassocks and nuns wear habits and veils, that have been thriving. Tragically, Pope Francis is suppressing these traditional orders.

New head calls for women clergy, change in teaching on homosexuality
OSNABRÜCK, Germany (ChurchMilitant.com) - German Franciscans have voted in a prior provincial who, weeks before the election, revealed he was homosexual.
Sixty friars of the German Franciscan province elected Markus Fuhrmann, a priest and a supporter of the radical German Synodal Path, at a chapter meeting in Ohrbeck near Osnabrück, the order founded by St. Francis of Assisi announced Wednesday.
