Cardinal Marx is one of the closest allies of Pope Francis, sharing common outlooks on issues. With regard to their liberal views on homosexuality, they are both wrong.
Marx desires an inclusive Church that includes all who want to walk the way of Jesus. But to walk the way of Jesus is not to accept and live the gay lifestyle, which is objective sin.
Marx says that the Kingdom of God is to discover that God is Love. Indeed, but homosexual “love” is not Christian love but human lust, and does not conform to Jesus’ and Church teachings on sexuality and authentic Christian love.
Through the Synodal Way of the German Church, and now the Synod on Synodality, both Marx and the Pope would want to change Church teaching to accommodate the diabolicsl sin of homosexuality.

Cardinal Marx celebrates Mass marking ‘20 years of queer worship and pastoral care’

Cardinal Reinhard Marx celebrated a Mass marking “20 years of queer worship and pastoral care” in Munich, southern Germany, on Sunday.
The archbishop of Munich and Freising offered the Mass on March 13 at St. Paul parish church, near Munich’s Theresienwiese, where the annual Oktoberfest is celebrated, reported CNA Deutsch, CNA’s German-language news partner.
Speaking at the Mass, the cardinal said: “I desire an inclusive Church. A Church that includes all who want to walk the way of Jesus.”
